Alternative and renewable Energy
As power costs are soaring and oil prices are
on the rise we at 2connex are committed to new ways of producing
Renewable energy sources or RES capture their energy from existing flows of energy, from on-going natural processes, such as sunshine, wind, flowing water, biological processes, and geothermal heat flows.
Wind Turbine (Wind Generator):
Common modern wind turbines or also called HAWT (or Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine) have usually three blades pointed into the wind by computer-controlled yaw motors.
Wind turbines generate electricity, using an electrical generator.
As aesthetics and durability became more important and the availability of long distance electric power transmission, wind generators are now often built as wind farms in ideal locations.
Big generators are often being built offshore, transmitting power back to land using high voltage submarine cable.
Since wind turbines are a renewable means of generating electricity, they are being widely deployed as alternative to fossil fueled electricity production.
